Ms. Wanda Faye Royall Reeves, 65, of NC Hwy 801 S, Mocksville, died Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at Rowan Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.
She was born March 10, 1947, in Yadkin County to the late John Dee and Gladys Lucille Vickers Royall. Ms. Reeves was owner/operator of Red Pig BBQ. She was a very caring person and a very loving mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Patty Owens; two brothers, Calvin and Archie Royall; and a special friend, Pete Wagner.
Ms. Reeves is survived by a daughter, Donna Whitaker (Jerry) of Mocksville; two granddaughters, Destiny and Kayla Reinhardt; five siblings, James Royall (Velma), Nettie Ruth Mathis (Dale), Annie Lou Adkins, Carol Stewart (Billy) and Tony Royall (Sharon), all of Yadkinville; Donna’s father, Donnie Reeves of Mocksville; several nieces and nephews; and many good friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Friday, May 25, at Eaton Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Donnie Chapman officiating. Interment will follow in Legion Memorial Park in Cooleemee. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, May 24, at the funeral home.
