Yadkinville man arrested for armed robbery
On April 30 detectives with the Yadkinville Police Department arrested Albert Barron Kimber, II, age 26, of Yadkinville on charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon, possession of firearm by felon, breaking and entering, felony larceny and kidnapping.
Kimber was the focus of an armed robbery investigation at the Yadkin Business Center Sweepstakes, located at 953 South State St. in Yadkinville that occurred on April 25.
Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office additionally charged Kimber in connection with an unrelated robbery and home invasion that happened on April 29 in Forsyth County.
Yadkinville officers executed a search warrant at Kimber’s last known address at Pine Valley Apartments in Yadkinville on April 30. Detectives with the Forsyth and Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the search.
Kimber is currently being held in the Yadkin County Detention Center under a $175,000 secured bond awaiting an appearance in the Yadkin County District Court.
Warrants have also have been issued for Jerome David Poole, age 25, of Winston-Salem in connection with the investigations.
These investigations were conducted with combined efforts from the Yadkinville Police Department, Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office and Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are expected.
