•10a.m.-9 p.m.-Yadkinville UMC will have the Station of the Cross set up in the Family Life Center during Holy Week. This is a self guided meditate time and prayer and reflection. Spend time at each station where you will find a reflection guide to help you reflect, pray and meditate on Christ’s journey to the cross.


Thursday, March 28


•7 p.m.-Mitchell’s Chapel United Methodist Church will have a Maundy Thursday service in the church sanctuary.


•7 p.m.-Yadkinville UMC will remember the Last Supper with a special service of music, meditation and Holy Communion. This will be a time to remember the evening Jesus spent with his disciples before his death and will remind us of the sacrifice he made.


Friday, March 29


•12 p.m.-Good Friday Service at Yadkinville First Baptist Church “The Seven Last Sayings”. This informal experience of worship will trace the path Jesus took on His way to the CROSS. It will be a moving reminder of the price He paid for our SINS. A love offering will be received for Yadkin Christian Ministries.


•7 p.m.- Yadkinville UMC will have a Tenebrae Service to commemorate the passion of Christ with music and dramatic readings. After this service a prayer vigil will begin and will continue until Easter Sunrise.


Saturday, March 30


•10 a.m.-Easter Egg Hunt at Stony Knoll United Methodist Church, 2340 Flint Hill Road East Bend. www.stonyknollumc.com Everyone is invited.


•2 p.m.-3 p.m.-Mitchell’s Chapel United Methodist Church will have a Easter Egg Hunt at the church.


Sunday, March 31


•7 a.m.-Mt. Zion Baptist Church at 2725 Old US Hwy 421 E., Yadkinville invites the community to an Easter Sunrise Service. A breakfast will follow in the church fellowship hall. The annual Easter cantata will be held at 10:00 a.m. in lieu of the regular 11:00 a.m. service.


•7 a.m.-Mitchell’s Chapel United Methodist Church will have a Easter Sunrise Service. The morning worship service will be at 10:30 a.m. in the church sanctuary.


•7 a.m.-Yadkinville UMC will gather on the front sidewalk of the church to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord! Following the service, we will have delicious breakfast in our Family Life Center. Everyone is encouraged to bring cut flowers to decorate the cross outside the front of the church.


•11 a.m.-CELEBRATE CHRIST’S RESURRECTION, Easter Sunday . Our children and Choir Chimes will be sharing in song. •11 a.m.-Easter Sunday Believers Baptist Church will present a Easter Play “Now He’s Gone”. The church is located 728 North State Street Hwy 601, Yadkinville, across from Yadkinville Fire Department.

•7 a.m.-10 a.m.-Relay for Life Country Breakfast at Pilot View Friends Church on Pilot View Church Road, Yadkinville.


Sunday, April 21-23


•11 a.m.-Homecoming and Revival at Berean Baptist Church, 2238 Buck Shoals Rd. Hamptonville. Dr. Billy Martinwill conduct our Revival services beginning Sunday morning and Monday and Tuesday at 7 p.m. Lunch on Sunday. Dr. Martin has a rich and varied background of ministry, having served as pastor, evangelist and Bible College Professor. He has served extensively in the field of missions, which has allowed him to travel widely in the US and Canada, South America, Africa, Europe and the Middle East.
