Yadkin County, the Town of Elkin and Surry Community College are hosting an information session on January 28 regarding educational opportunities connected with a New Generations Career Project received from the North Carolina Rural Center. The collaborative project is designed to assist young adults, ages 18 thru 30, in becoming better prepared for employment through educational opportunities, job placement assistance and guidance. The one-hour session will be held at the Yadkin Center of Surry Community College beginning at 6 p.m. in room 132.
