Marie B. Roth, a historian and genealogist from Davie County, will speak at the 48th annual meeting of the Yadkin County Historical Society on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Yadkin County Senior Center located at 207 East Hemlock Street in Yadkinville.
Roth will review her experiences while compiling two recent books on military veterans of Davie County.
During its business meeting, the Society will review activities in 2012 and collect information for activities in 2013. Members will elect the board of directors for 2013.
The Society invites members and the public to attend.
