Three Yadkin County 4-H members brought home awards in the NC State 4-H Dairy Poster Contest.

The contest is sponsored by the Southeast United Dairy Industry Association.

The youth designed posters to reflect this year’s theme “Dedicated to Dairy –Make Mine Milk”. Posters were judged on originality, design, and overall message. The winning posters will be displayed at NC State Fair in the Jim Graham Building during the dairy shows.

In the 9-12 age division Ashley Collins of the Small Folks Hornets Club placed 3rd. Elizabeth Clendenin of the Stars and Stripes 4-H Club was 2nd in the 13-15 age division. Madaline Jones of Deep Creek 4-H placed 2nd in the 16-19 year old age category. All three youth will receive cash prize awards.

4-H is a youth organization open to youth ages 5-18 and is a partner agency of the Yadkin County United Fund.
