Mrs. Doris Phillips Sullivan, age 91, of Jefferson, died Saturday May 26, 2012 at Watauga Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 12:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Goss officiating. Burial will follow in the Ashelawn Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 11-12am on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Boone Family Funeral Home.
Mrs. Sullivan was born in Ashe County on Monday, July 19, 1920 to the late Eli Phillips and Cory Denny.
She is survived by her one son; Bill Sullivan and wife Marie of Warrensville; three daughters; Betty Hayter and husband Tommy of Abingdon, VA, Nancy Lethcoe and husband Ed of Conover, and Sue Dalton and husband Bob of Yadkinville; one sister; Ruth Clark of Elkton, Maryland; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
The family request no food or flowers. In lieu of flowers; memorials may be made to Ashe Services for Aging, 180 Chattyrob Lane, West Jefferson, NC 28694.
