The Yadkin Arts Council announces an extended deadline and an increase in cash awards for the Eye of the Artist Juried Show – Town and Country. This is the second annual Juried Show for the Arts Council. Cash prizes totaling $2,000 will be awarded.

The deadline has been extended to June 18.

All North Carolina residents may submit work in 2D and/or 3D completed in the last two years. The Council is pleased to announce that David Simpson, artist and owner of the prestigious Germanton Gallery in Germanton, N.C. will judge this year’s exhibit. Artists must be 18 years of age or older.

A selection committee of three will review all submitted works. Selected participants will be notified on or around June 25. The exhibit in the Yadkin Cultural Arts Center’s Welborn Gallery will run from July 13 through September 17.
