•11 a.m.-The Easter season will soon be upon us, and the Calvary Moravian Friends (CMF) of Calvary Moravian Church, located at 600 Holly Avenue, in downtown Winston-Salem, NC, have planned a really special program. The program is scheduled in our Fellowship Hall. Norwood Robinson, a prominent local attorney, will share his research into the “Legal Aspects of the Crucifixion”. His talk will provide little-known insights into the trial of Christ. In addition to his legal work through the years, Norwood has been an outstanding Christian layman. He is a member of Centenary United Methodist Church where he has taught an adult Sunday School class for 54 years! A casual reception with light refreshments will follow the program in the Fellowship Hall. This free program promises to be a worth-while prelude to the Holy Week readings.

Saturday, March 24

•12 p.m.-2 p.m.-New Birth Worship Center’s (NBWC) Scholarship Committee and Youth will have their annual Multi-Affair Event. A program will feature the “Called by My Name Mime Ministry” from 1st Baptist Church in Thomasville; the NBWC Youth Choir and NBWC Angels of Mercy Dance Ministry, as well as a skit entitled “The Pastor’s BBQ”. There will be a SILENT LOVE AUCTION, which will include homemade items, a Mini Consignment, Arts & Crafts, and a Fashion Show, etc. All proceeds benefit the NBWC Scholarship Youth Fund whose theme is “Thank God for Victory through Jesus Christ”.
