The YCAC is located at 226 E. Main Street, Yadkinville, N.C.

The Yadkin Arts Council was founded in 1975 as a 501(C)3 non-profit corporation in Yadkin County.

The Council and Center’s mission statement reads: To enrich the lives of every citizen of Yadkin County through a broad variety of arts programs that touch, inspire and involve creative spirits of all ages and all backgrounds.

The YCAC offers artists an opportunity to showcase their works in a unique setting which allows for viewing by not only art enthusiasts, but school children and tourists of the wine region as well.

The Yadkin Arts Council believes that art is transformational. Arts open minds, frees imagination, and helps people see the world from different perspectives.

The Yadkin Arts Council hosts community events, festivals, and workshops in the visual arts, writing, photography and more. Artist exhibitions open bi-monthly at our two galleries: the Welborn Gallery at the Cultural Center and the gallery next door at Uptown Wine & Gallery.

The YCAC also co-sponsors with the Yadkinville Downtown Business Association Arts on Main.

Every third Friday of the month beginning in April the Yadkin Arts Council hosts “Arts on Main.”

Enjoy live music, arts and crafts, a farmer’s market, food items and the shops on Main Street. The artists of the YARD studios will be working in their studios and the Welborn Gallery at the Center will be open.for viewing.
