The Elkin Wet Lightning eked out a win Tuesday night in their last home meet of the season.

The racing itself at the Elkin Recreational Pool was tight throughout the night, some results being decided by just hundredths of a second. Had any of them gone the other way, it’s likely that their opponent, the Dobson Dolphins, could have been the ones barely getting a win.

Next up for the Wet Lightning are conference tournaments which will be starting up soon. Date and times are to be announced.

At press time, results from Tuesday’s meet were not yet posted.
