Falcons baseball, softball win conference titles


The Forbush Falcons women’s softball team won the Western Piedmont Athletic Conference regular season with a conference record of 10-0, and an overall record of 21-2. Head Coach Jeremy Helton was voted the 2016 WPAC Coach of the Year.

Several Forbush softball players made All-Conference and Honorable Mention for the 2016 season. The Forbush baseball team won first place in the WPAC regular season. The Falcons ended their season with a 16-8 overall record, and a 9-1 conference record. Head Coach Jack Moss earned the title of 2016 WPAC Coach of the Year, and Tyler Campbell was named 2016 Player of the Year. Several players from Forbush also earned All Conference, and Honorable Mention. Tyler Campbell, Jack Crews, Carter Foster, Jamie Sheek, and Blake Winebarger all earned All Conference, while Tanner Gregory earned Honorable Mention.
