Yadkin County Schools open house schedule

It’s been a short eight weeks, and it’s time for students to gather up their backpacks and head back to class.

Yadkin County Schools start back on August 9, and open houses are available for students of all ages to get a head start meeting their teachers and getting acquainted with their schools.

Below is a list for the open house dates and schedules for all Yadkin County Schools.

Elementary Schools:

Boonville Elementary will hold its open house on August 6.

5th and 6th grades will meet at 5 p.m.

1st and 2nd grades will meet at 5:30 p.m.

3rd and 4th grades will meet at 6 p.m.

Kindergarten and Exceptional Program will meet at 6:30 p.m.

Courtney Elementary will hold its open house on August 6.

All grades can stop by their classrooms between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.

East Bend Elementary will hold its open house on August 6.

Pre-K will meet at 5 p.m. in the media center

Kindergarten will meet at 5 p.m. in the auditorium

1st – 3rd grades will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the auditorium

4th – 6th grades will meet at 6 p.m. in the auditorium

A hotdog supper will follow in the school cafeteria.

Fall Creek Elementary will hold its open house on August 6.

All grades can stop by their classrooms between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Forbush Elementary will hold its open house on August 6.

All grades can stop by their classrooms between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Jonesville Elementary will hold its open house on August 6.

Pre-K – 1st grades will meet at 5 p.m.

2nd and 3rd grades will meet at 5:30 p.m.

4th – 6th grades will meet at 6 p.m.

West Yadkin will hold its open house on August 6.

Pre-K will meet at 5 p.m. in the classrooms

Kindergarten will meet at 5 p.m. in the multipurpose room

1st and 2nd grades will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the classrooms

3rd and 4th grades will meet at 6 p.m. in the classrooms

5th grade will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the classrooms

6th grade will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the multipurpose room

Yadkinville will hold its open house on August 6.

All grades can stop by their classrooms between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Middle Schools:

Forbush Middle will hold its open house on August 6.

7th grade will meet at 2 p.m.

8th grade can stop by their classrooms from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Starmount Middle will hold its open house on August 6.

7th grade will meet from 1 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.; this is not a floating open house

8th grade can stop by their classrooms from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.; this is a floating open house

High Schools:

Forbush High will hold its open house on August 6.

9th grade will meet from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the gym

10th - 12th grades can stop by their classrooms from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Starmount High will hold its open house on August 6.

9th grade will meet from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

10th – 12th grade can stop by their classrooms from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Yadkin Early College will hold its open house on August 4.

All grades can attend the annual open house picnic at the Surry Community College Yadkin Center from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Yadkin Success Academy will hold its open house on August 6.

All grades can stop by their classrooms from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
