Courtney Carol Phillips graduated cum laude from Western Carolina University and WCU Honor’s College on May 5. Courtney graduated with a special education degree and with a dual license in general curriculum and adaptive curriculum.
She was also listed on the Dean’s List for the spring semester and was an active member of Pi Gamma Mu Honor’s Society.
Courtney has been accepted into the master’s program at Western Carolina where she will begin her studies in elementary education in August. Courtney is the daughter of Jennifer and David Phillips of East Bend and the granddaughter of Ruby H. Murphy and Mr. and Mrs. David Phillips of East Bend.
