Yadkin County Humane Society will host a memorial balloon releast on Sunday, June 10 at Hanover Park Vineyards.
The community is encourage to purchase a balloon and release it in memory of a loved one or a family pet.
The event will take place at Hanover Park Vineyards at 1927 Courtney-Huntsville Road in Yadkinville from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The balloon release will take place at 2:45 p.m.
Cheese and crackers will be provided and there will be games for children, vineyard animals to pet and wine tastings on site. Yadkin County Humane Society will receive a percentage of wine purchased between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Those interested in purchasing a balloon do not have to in attendance at the event. A balloon can be purchased and released for you. Those in attendance the day of the event that purchase a balloon will be able to release their own balloons. Balloons are $10 each and can be purchased by calling (336) 244-3225 or by emailing yadkinanimalrescue@triad.rr.com.
