Yadkin Valley Longrifles
Yadkin Valley Longrifles Inc. is looking for new members. Monthly shooting matches are generally held on the third Saturday of every month. Requirements are that the rifle be a traditional percussion or flintlock rifle. The range is only open to target shooting during during scheduled matches. SMS Football Boosters Golf Tournament
The Starmount Middle School football boosters will be holding a charity golf tournament Saturday, April 21 at Silo Run Golf Club in Boonville. A shotgun start is slated for 8 a.m. The entry fee is $200 a team - four person captain’s choice. Prizes will be handed out for longest drive and closest to the pin shots, as well as a $400 prize to the first-place team and a $200 prize for the second-place team. Lunch will also be provided.
