Michael and Maxie Dixon of East Bend celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary August 24 with lunch at Cherries Cafe and August 25 with lunch at Mount Olympus.
The couple’s daughter and spouse are Myra and James Smith of East Bend. Their son and spouse are Michael Jr. (Mike) and Rebecca Dixon of Wake Forest.
Mr. Dixon retired from management at Multicraft Inc. Mrs. Dixon teaches Adult Literacy at Forsyth Technical Community College.
They were married August 25, 1962 at East Bend United Methodist Church.
