Billy M. Britt will sign copies of his new book, Giants in the Land, at East Bend Friends Meeting, 128 Quaker Ave., East Bend, NC, during the Yadkin Valley Quarterly Meeting. The public is invited to the book signing, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, October 21. The book tells the life stories of 17 North Carolina Yearly Meeting (NCYM) leaders. Britt, a former pastor at Harmony Grove Meeting, also is a former NCYM superintendent.
