Letter to the editor

To the editor,

I’d like to introduce myself my name is Sandra Dee. I’ve had Fibromyalgia 16 years. I was honored and blessed to be a part of Baptist Hospital Fibromyalgia second course study. I’ve prayed for others while we suffered in silence. There’s finally awareness but not enough. There’s no support groups that I know of. Fibromyalgia is still in questions as to why? I shared 16 years of knowledge with the hospital three months program. Baptist Hospital compassion and trainees were wonderful. Meeting others was highly gratifying. Its like a foreign language not spoken of. Fibro is a everyday struggle of chronic pain. It’s a world wide problem of all ages. Id like to offer my thoughts and prayers. Together we could make a difference. Out reaches are needed. We also need insurance company’s to recognize it without doubt. Fibromyalgia can be consuming and depressive even lethal thoughts. Together we can start emotional relief. I’m very interested in a support group plus awareness to the public. Healthy Recovery plans for Fibromyalgia and chronic pain are needed! If it can be done threw insurances and YMCA working together? Open for ideas. All life matters. I’m to the point of opening my home. Why does everything consists of insurances and money. Why can’t love, concern, wellness, and unconditional come 1st. God says to help your brothers and sisters. Love those as if you love yourselves. Thank you all for listening. There are many different support groups needed threw the surrounding areas. The sick ones are hurting and the addicted young are dying. Support Groups needed. All life matters.
