Four charged in stolen narcotics case

Officers with the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation into the sell and distribution of multiple prescription narcotics.

The investigation involved undercover purchases of prescription drugs. Those drugs are Oxycontin, Oxycodone and Hydrocodone. Large quantities of those drugs were being sold by suspects and placed into the hands of “street level dealers.”

Those suspects arrested Wednesday night include:

• Patterson Hardin Blevins Sr., 58 of Hamptonville, was arrested and charged with two counts of trafficking in Opiates, sell and delivery of a scheduled II controlled substance, possession with intent to sell and deliver a schedule II controlled substance, and felony conspiracy to sell and deliver narcotics. Blevins is being held in the Yadkin County Detention Center under a $50,000 secure bond with a court date of Aug. 28.

• Alton Glenn Crutchley (senior), 59 of East Bend, was arrested and charged with five counts of trafficking in Opiates, three counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver a scheduled II controlled substance, sell and delivery of a scheduled II controlled substance, possession with intent to sell and deliver a scheduled IV controlled substance, felony conspiracy to sell and deliver narcotics, and felony maintain a vehicle dwelling. Crutchley (senior) is being held in the Yadkin County Detention Center under a $125,000 secure bond with a court date of Aug. 28.

• Mary Elizabeth Stokes (Crutchley), 54, of East Bend, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver a scheduled II controlled substance, felony conspiracy to sell and deliver narcotics, felony maintain a dwelling, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Stokes was being held in the Yadkin County Detention Center under a $10,000 secure bond with a court date of Aug. 28.

• Alton Glenn Crutchley II, 41 of Boonville, was arrested and charged with two counts of trafficking in Opiates, possession with intent to sell and deliver a scheduled II controlled substance, and felony conspiracy to sell and deliver a scheduled II controlled substance. Crutchley II was released on an unsecured bond and pretrial release. His court date is Sept. 2.

The investigation netted the seizure of two vehicles, the search of an residence, more than 90 dosage units of Oxycodone, 18 dosage units of Hydrocodone, 35 dosage units of clonazepam, multiple doses of Oxycontin, Phentermine, and Vyvance.

Additional charges are pending and more arrests are expected, according to the sheriff’s office officials.
