Teen charged in two larceny cases

Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jared Nash Brinegar Jr., 19, of Boonville, on Tuesday and charged him with one count of felony larceny of a firearm, two counts of obtaining property by false pretenses, one count of felony larceny and one count of misdemeanor larceny.

On Feb. 14, Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office received two separate reports of larceny from residences in Boonville and East Bend. Brinegar was a suspect in each incident. The items stolen were sold to a local pawn shop, according to a report from the sheriff’s office.

Brinegar received an unsecured $15,000 bond with a court date of March 8.
