Man charged in vehicle theft case

On July 13, the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a stolen vehicle at Cutters, Inc. in Yadkinville. The victim had left the secured vehicle parked there for a few hours and upon returning the vehicle was gone. After an investigation, the vehicle was later found in Hamptonville with a broken window.

Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office arrested Michael Allen Beam, 23, of Yadkinville, for the alleged theft and charged him with one count of felony larceny. Beam was given an unsecured $15,000 bond with a court date of July 27.
