On July 19, the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a breaking and entering and theft at a residence on James Road in Yadkinville. The victim told authorities he discovered his residence has been broken into and items were missing.
After further investigation, detectives alleged that Timothy Ray Baker, 35, of Yadkinville, was responsible. Detectives were able to locate the stolen items and return them to the victim.
Baker was arrested on Monday and charged with one count of felony breaking and entering and one count of felony larceny after breaking and entering. Baker is being held in the Yadkin County Detention Center under a $7,500 secured bond. His first court date is July 27.
