On Sunday, the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office was called out to N.C. 67 and Prides Road in reference to a suspicious vehicle. When the deputy arrived on the scene, he found the vehicle on the shoulder of the road and found the driver asleep behind the wheel with the engine running. After checking the vehicle, the deputy found drugs and a firearm in a closed bag.
Jessica Marie Bullins, 28, of Dobson, was arrested charged with misdemeanors of one count carrying a concealed gun, one count of simple possession of Oxycotin, one count simple possession of Xanax, one count possess drug paraphernalia and one count possession of marijuana. She was given a $2,500 secured bond.
On Monday, sheriff’s office detectives also arrested and charged Bullins with one count felony possession of a stolen firearm, two counts felony possess with intent to manufacture sell and deliver opium, two counts felony possess with intent to manufacture sell and deliver Xanax and one felony count of trafficking opium. The firearm had been reported stolen from Surry County. She was given a secured bond of $40,000 with a court date of Wednesday.
