Forbush alum sworn in as NC attorney


Christopher Randall Hampton, who recently passed the North Carolina Bar exam, is sworn in as a North Carolina attorney by the Honorable Judge David V. Byrd in Yadkin County on May 9. Yadkinville Attorney Greg Matthews graciously sponsored Hampton for the swearing in ceremony. Hampton is a graduate of Forbush High School, Davidson College and the University of South Carolina School of Law. He already has been admitted to the South Carolina Bar and practices in Columbia, South Carolina, in a business law firm Nexsen Pruet. From left are the Honorable Judge David V. Byrd, Attorney Greg Matthews, Megan Thomas and Chris Hampton. Hampton’s parents Diane and Randall Hampton, Uncle Ryan Hampton and Grandmother Dot Hampton were also in attendance.
