HAMPTONVILLE — On April 26, the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a commercial burglar alarm located at 3 Sisters Corner Café on Buck Shoals Road in Hamptonville.

Deputies arrived on the scene and discovered that the business had been broken into. The owner of the business provided video surveillance footage to detectives.

After further investigation, detectives allege that Tony Isaac Hawkins, 35, and Shannon Denise Lawson, 37, both of Hamptonville, were responsible for the break-in.

The two were arrested on July 31. Hawkins was charged with one count of felony breaking and entering, one count of felony larceny after breaking and entering and injury to real property. Lawson was charged with one count of felony aid and abet larceny, and one count of felony conspire to break and enter a building. Both were released on a $1,500 unsecured bond.
