YADKINVILLE — Leigh Ann Billings, 27, of Yadkinville, has been charged in connection with a home robbery in Yadkinville. On July 9, the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office received a report of breaking and entering and theft at a residence on Styers Mill Road.

The victim reported that she discovered her residence had been broken into and several items were missing. After further investigation, Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office detectives alleged that Billings had taken the items reported stolen and sold them to a pawn shop in Wilkes County on the same day the report was filed. Detectives were able to recover some of the stolen items and return them to the victim.

Billings was arrested on July 24 and charged with one count of felony breaking and entering and one count of felony larceny after breaking and entering. She was released on a $2,500 unsecured bond.
