YADKINVILLE — The Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office along with the Yadkinville Police Department and the NC State Bureau of Investigation dismantled a large clandestine methamphetamine lab on Garner Road in Yadkinville on Tuesday, according to press release from the Yadkin Sheriff’s Office.
Following the serving of a search warrant, more than 70 methamphetamine producing containers, about 3,000 milliliters of liquid possibly containing methamphetamine, and a quantity of finished methamphetamine were seized from the property. In addition to the liquids, a large amount of precursor items and chemicals were located. Two firearms, marijuana and drug paraphernalia also were seized.
Wink Tyler Davis, 36, Garner Road, Yadkinville, was arrested and charged with manufacture of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine precursors, and maintain a dwelling for controlled substances. More charges are pending for Davis, according to law enforcement. Davis is being held under a $300,000 secure bond and has a court date of June 15.
Other assisting agencies in the cleanup were the NC SBI Clandestine Methamphetamine Lab Team, Iredell County Sheriff’s Office and Winston-Salem Police Department. Yadkin County EMS, Yadkin County Rescue Squad, and Lone Hickory Fire Department were at the residence to assist with site safety.
