The Triad Austin Healey Club will hold its annual “Wooly Worm Tour,” this Saturday starting in Elkin. Coordinated by Jon Saylor and his daughter Margie Steele along with Allan Hendrix, the tour will begin at the Gwyn Museum located at 139 Church St. and will end at Saylor’s house in State Road. This tour features classic cars though the general public is encouraged to take part.

Cost for participation is $10 and includes more than a tour of the local flora. The museum will open at 11 a.m. and cars will begin their line up at noon, with chicken stew to be served at the end of the trip to those who bring a bowl, spoon, and their own beverages. Participants are encouraged to also bring a lawn chair and a “to go” container for leftovers. Registration details and other information can be obtained by contacting Steele at m020468@yahoo.com.
