The Yadkinville Lions have re-elected Donald Moxley as president for the third year in a row. Bobby Sutton, the Lions secretary, presented Moxley a special plaque in recognition of his leadership. Other officers include first vice president Daryl Hawkins, treasurer Vern Harrison, chaplain Conrad Brown, Lion tamer Conrad Brown, tail twister Lisa Hawkins, directors J.E. Brown, Charles Collins and Dale Wilhelm.

The Lions held a raffle at the Yadkin Valley Harvest Festival on Saturday. Dr. Scott Gordon won the tool box and tools. All 600 tickets were sold. The money will be used to buy glasses for people that can’t afford them.

The Lions Club is seeking new members. If anyone is interested in helping with community projects, call Bobby Sutton at 336-677-8683.
