There will be a Yadkin County Cattle Producers meeting, Tuesday, March 6, at 6:30 p.m.

The meeting will be held at Deep Creek Friends Church. Topics of discussion will be: Proper Cattle Nutrition To Meet Your Needs and Mineral Supplementation. We will also discuss a few upcoming educational opportunities and livestock events.

There will be a sponsored meal and reservations are needed by 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 1. Please contact the Extension Office, 679-2061 to make your reservation or for more information. Come learn how to improve the nutrition levels for your cattle to increase production and overall animal health.

The Davie County Cattlemen will meet, Thursday, March 1 at the Center Community Building. The program will start at 6:30 p.m., and the topics will be Basic Pasture Management, Weed Control and Fertilization Programs. Please call in reservations by 3 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28. Pesticide Credits have been applied for so bring your license to the meeting.
