Roaring River man arrested on Guilford Co. order

JONESVILLE — A Roaring River man was arrested by Jonesville Police Sunday on an order for arrest from Guilford County.

According to a incident report with the Jonesville PD, David Ray Caudill, 31, was arrested on North Main Street at 12:48 a.m.

He was charged with one misdemeanor count of an order for his arrest from Guilford dated Sept. 13, one misdemeanor charge of possession of a Schedule 4 drug, and a misdemeanor charge of “open container (passenger).”

In his possession were 11 clonazepam, a drug similar to hydrocodone.

According to the report, Caudill had consumed drugs and/or alcohol.

He was placed in the Yadkin Jail under a secured $1,000 bond. His trial date was set for Dec. 4 in Yadkinville.
