Two charged with breaking into Yadkinville home

Two Yadkinville residents have been charged with breaking and entering a house on JR Key Drive in Yadkinville.

Tabitha Lynn Martin, 23, and Monica Danielle Carranza, 19, both of Yadkinville, were each charged with one count of felony breaking and entering, one count of felony larceny after breaking and entering, one count of obtaining property by false pretenses, and one count of conspiracy in connection to this incident.

All stolen property was recovered and returned to the victim.

The Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office on August 21 received a report from a victim located on JR Key Drive in Yadkinville saying that he had received a call from a neighbor advising that his residence had just been broken into.

Shortly after the report was made, deputies with the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office and officers with the Yadkinville Police Department located the suspects walking in Yadkinville.

Tabitha Martin is being held on a $10,000 secured bond while Monica Carranza was released on a $50,000 unsecured bond.
